Maria Ameel RN is M.Soc and PhD candidate at the University of Turku.
The overall aim of her PhD thesis is to systematically identify and describe nursing interventions in outpatient psychiatric setting
She has been working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at the largest University Hospital in Finland. Her nursing background in is in outpatient psychiatric care. She has degrees in DBT and MBCT therapy and has a master’s degree in Social Science from the University of Helsinki. Her major was in international development and anthropology.
