Sara is a registered nurse and obtained a master’s degree in Nursing and a master’s degree in healthcare management and policy. She works as a science assistant at the Centre of Expertise for Fall and Fracture Prevention Flanders. In addition, Sara is also working as a doctoral student at the Academic Center for Nursing and Midwifery . Currently, she is doing research on the implementation of guidelines in the community setting. Sara mainly focuses on the implementation of a guideline on physical restraint use and a guideline for fall prevention.
